Smoothies: For an On-the-Go Healthy Choice

As summer leaves us and busy fall schedules return, it can be tough to keep a healthy, balanced diet on the daily to-do list. Healthful fats have a beneficial effect on blood pressure, and they have been shown to support gut health.”
  1. Micronutrients and Antioxidants: Many fruits and vegetables used in smoothies are rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that can support immune function and protect against chronic diseases. 
  1. Digestion: Some ingredients, like yogurt with probiotics or ginger, can promote healthy digestion.
